The 2025 San Diego County Fair kicked off on Wednesday, June 11 and will run through July 6, closing on Mondays and Tuesdays, for a total of 20 summer-filled days of fun at the Del Mar Fairgrounds.

How to Save More at the Fair

The Fair offers multiple promotions so you can enjoy all the excitement without overspending:

  • Discount Tickets at Supermarkets:
  • Buy your tickets at Albertsons, Vons, or Pavilions with a minimum $10 store purchase and save up to $9 per ticket. These are valid on any fair day—no reservation needed.
  • If you’re planning to go to the San Diego Contry Fair  from Tijuana and don’t want to use The Fair Tripper, one of the ticket sales points is Farmacias Roma.
  • Season Passes Are Back:

    For the first time since 2019, season passes return!
    • Standard Pass: $65, valid every day of the fair.
    • Fair Fanatic Pass: $160, includes perks like discounts on parking, merch, fast passes for games, and exclusive concerts.
  • Kids Get In Free on Fridays:

    Children 12 and under enter free every Friday in June, and kids under 5 enter free every day.
  • Food Promotions:

    Over 40 food stands offer $15 combo meals (entrée, side, and drink).

    On “Foodie Fridays,” enjoy 50% off the top 18 dishes from the Fair-tastic Foods competition, 11 a.m. – 4 p.m.
  • Games & Attractions:

    On Fridays in June, play any game in the Fun Zone or Kids Zone for just 4 BlastPass credits from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.

    Look out for Pepsi Pay-One-Price Ride Days for unlimited fun at a fixed price.
  • Parking & Transport:

    Save big by parking off-site and using the free shuttle, or pay only $10 to park at Del Mar Horsepark (with shuttle).

    Buy general parking online and save up to $41.
  • Fair Tripper Package from Tijuana:

    Coming from Tijuana without a car? The Fair Tripper bundle includes roundtrip public transit and fair admission for just $20–$25, depending on age.
    • Best route:

      Walk across at San Ysidro, buy your Fair Tripper ticket at the trolley machine, take the Blue Line trolley to Downtown San Diego, transfer at Santa Fe Depot to the COASTER train to Solana Beach, then hop on the free fair shuttle straight to the gates.
    • Available via the PRONTO app or at ticket machines on the same day of travel. Valid across San Diego County.

Who’s Performing Sunday, June 15?

As part of the Toyota Summer Concert Series, legendary Mexican band Los Tigres del Norte will take the Corona Grandstand Stage.

On the Chevrolet Paddock Stage, catch Sure Fire Soul Ensemble, free with general admission.

The “Domingueando en la Feria” event will feature music, performances, the Firefighters Expo, and a Firefighter Demolition Derby.
