Rosarito Beer Fest 2025: What Can We Expect This Year?

Beyond the beer, the festival will feature live music, cultural activities, and contests like the “People’s Choice,” where guests can vote in real time for their favorite brewery and beer via QR codes. This interactive dynamic aims to strengthen the connection between brewers and festivalgoers, offering direct feedback to producers.

One of the main draws of Rosarito Beer Fest is its seaside venue: Hotel Las Rocas, a location with oceanfront access, pools, pet-friendly areas, and on-site lifeguards and medical staff—making the festival a safe, open space for all ages.

Craft beer has moved beyond being just a trend; it’s now an economic and cultural driver in Baja California. The region’s vibrant beer scene competes at both national and international levels. Events like this one reinforce the region’s identity as a craft beer destination, while also promoting experience-based tourism and local consumption.

More than 1,500 attendees are expected, including domestic visitors, tourists from Southern California, and local residents—making Rosarito Beer Fest a key summer event on the region’s tourism calendar.

The festival will take place this Saturday, July 19, at kilometer 38.5 on the Tijuana–Ensenada free road. More information and presale tickets are available through the festival’s official social media channels.

The second edition of Rosarito Beer Fest isn’t just a summer experience by the sea—it reaffirms craft beer’s role as a pillar of Baja California’s cultural and tourism identity. The region’s brewing talent, now embodied in over 190 projects, has earned recognition at top-tier national and international competitions.

In 2024, Baja California took home an impressive 29 medals—including 10 gold, 9 silver, and 10 bronze—at Expo Cerveza México, reinforcing its title as the “Oasis of Craft Beer.” The previous year, in 2023, the delegation earned 38 medals, breaking its own records and further asserting its leadership in events like Expo Cerveza México. These achievements go beyond recognition—they reflect an industry committed to innovation, tradition, and regional economic growth.

Festivals like Rosarito Beer Fest are the natural complement to this success, offering a direct connection between brewers and the public in an emblematic location like Hotel Las Rocas, where the sea, gastronomy, and a welcoming atmosphere come together.Every glass poured this Saturday, July 19, will showcase the talent, passion, and regional pride of Baja California.
More than just a beverage, craft beer becomes a symbol of identity and community. And with every gold, silver, or bronze award, Baja California reaffirms that it doesn’t just brew exceptional beers—it’s building a beer culture that proudly raises its flag before the world. Cheers to that!
